Fire Systems Sales Representative

London / South East

£35 - £40,000 o.t.e. £50 -£60,000

The role of Project Sales Representative is an exciting opportunity to join a new and expanding team focused on the sale of New Fire Systems installation packages. We are particularly interested in people experienced in selling Integrated Fire Solutions including Voice Alarm, and Disabled Refuge systems. The successful candidate will work with Consultants, Contractors and End User prospects to achieve the agreed goals of our client and the individual.

You will be the main point of contact for new customers and build on our strong company presence in the building services market.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/ client contact towards achieving agreed business aims and sales targets.

• Design Fire detection and other related systems to the requirements of BS5839

• Be fully conversant and be able to apply BS 5839 Part 1 and Part 8, BS6266 and HTM05-03 principles

• Develop sales presentations and to respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods

• To be fully conversant with Sales Tools and System Processes

• To liaise with the Estimating team on proposals and projects

• Ensuring that all quotations are presented in line with the company''s requirements

• Ensure smooth hand over of orders to Operations, and to provide first line customer support.

• Developing new solutions accounts and sales leads by cold calling and networking.

• Develop your existing relationships and target specific opportunities.

• Identifying customer needs and preparing written proposals to deliver cost effective solutions.

• To ensure client''s requirements and expectations are managed and met.

• Planning and development of bids/offers across the whole sales cycle.

• To meet revenue based targets

• Survey, estimate (when required) and delver solutions proposals

• Maintain effective relationships both internal and external.

• When on site comply full with Health and Safety Requirements

• Monitor and report on market and competitors

Ideally the successful candidate will be based around the London or South East area as this is the region the role will support


Experience Required:

• Experienced in selling Integrated Fire Solutions

• Experience of selling Voice Alarm, and Disabled Refuge systems is an advantage

• A full knowledge of BS 5839 and other relevant Fire standards is an advantage

• You will be self motivated and proactive

• Ability to meet targets and be a strategic thinker

• Team player

• Excellent communicator
