BDM - Fire Detection - Germany & Eastern Europe

Area:


Germany, Eastern Europe and possibly Russia - reporting to Sales Director located in UK.



Location:

Based in home office located preferably in Northern Germany



Candidate:

Should ideally be from a Sales/Technical background



Qualifications:

Degree educated

German + English language skills ( Russian would be useful)


Experience:

Selling to Consultant Engineers

Influencing Insurers and End users

Fire Detection Systems

Knowledge of Market in Eastern Europe


Main Objective is to provide the Push in the “Push and Pull” Sales Strategy: ie to provide the opportunities, specification and brand awareness, for our distributors to pull from. A secondary objective will be to manage motivate and train the Distributors in Region



Duties:

Target specific end users who have need of company’s products applications

Introduce specific and unique solutions to them

Prepare unique presentations

Take them to distribution sales or Distributors

Do same with major consultants who work in our areas

Build up intelligence of major projects to be carried out in Region

Identify OEM opportunities

Working with: other departments

Liaising with Distributor sales

Liaising with product Development on OEM opportunities

Liaising and co-ordinating with future Business development managers in other Regions


Although the successful individual will not be specifically targeted or rewarded by revenue, There will be a necessity to monitor achievement to gauge success of initiative and bonus reward. To this end documentation of initiatives and regular reporting are essential.
